Monday’s Food Plan

Here’s my plan for tomorrow. Let’s see how well I can stick to it:

Breakfast: 1 quart of Green Smoothie

Snack: Cherry tomatoes drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper

Lunch: Kale and Cabbage salad with Greek Dressing; I actually had a green salad with Parmesan sprinkles and lemon/olive oil dressing
Snack: Some kind of fruit or another quart of green smoothie

Dinner: Vegetable Chowder

Snack: Herbal tea before bed

To prepare for all this, I need to soak almonds overnight for the almond milk I’ll make tomorrow morning to put in my green smoothie. My dinner is already made and in the fridge. Tomorrow, I’ll just need to make the Greek dressing.

What I’m going to make for my cooked food family is another story. I’ll probably make a red sauce and have it over pasta with a big green salad to accompany it. Sounds easy enough. Will I be able to say no to a big steaming bowl of penne and sauce? I don’t know, but that’s the goal.
